Hearing Aids on NHS Contract

This page details the DSP aids available on the new NHS contract, effective 1 November 2003.

Old DSP lines held in NHS Logistics will remain available until at least 31st December 2003 to allow for transition to the new products. The manufacturers of these aids will continue to support them for a period of five years after the contract ended. Please do not stockpile aids that will no longer be on the contract.

As with previous contracts a high minimum specification was set in order that modern leading edge DSP products were submitted by suppliers. Pricing of all awarded products is competitive with further savings being secured across the range of DSP aids.

Sites which are currently part of the MHAS programme have received an individual communication from the MHAS project team regarding the effect of this award on their service.
